St. Paul Lutheran Church … Fellowship …
Building Connection, Support, and Community
Fellowship Committee

Our Goals
The committee plans and hosts special events which bring a sense of joy and belonging to the congregation and the community. Members manage the kitchen, ensuring it is fully stocked with basic supplies for our weekly Coffee Hour as well as upcoming events. The Ministry Leader is Nancy Koplin.

Annual Blessing of the Animals
In the first week of October, the congregation and community are invited to bring pets to St. Paul Lutheran Church for an outdoor blessing. Thanks is given to God for the joy, companionship, and support that animals bring to our lives. The duty of people to protect, respect, and care for all living creatures is acknowledged. We ask God for good health, safety, and long lives for pets and working animals.

Annual Blessing of the Backpacks
On the last Sunday of August, students and teachers of all ages in congregation and community are invited to bring their bags or backpacks to the 9 am service. During the worship service, a special blessing will be shared as they prepare to begin a new school or work year. Join us in prayer for a happy and successful year.

Annual Blue Claws Game
Members of the congregation spend an afternoon at ShoreTown Ballpark watching a Blue Claws game. This year we enjoyed an open-air party deck with a buffet and drinks. Our talented Bell Choir performed the National Anthem.

Annual Church Picnic
Members of the congregation come together for an open-air worship service followed by a picnic in Mayo Park.

Coffee Hour – Weekly
Following the 9 am Sunday Service each week, the church hosts a Coffee Hour. The committee arranges for the preparation of the Coffee Hour table. Join us as we share fellowship and sample delicious items from our congregation. Volunteers are always welcome.

Forth of July
St. Paul Lutheran Church welcomes the congregation and community to view the Beachwood Fourth of July fireworks from our main parking lot. The committee makes snacks and drinks available for purchase for the convenience of our visitors. It is an opportunity for the congregation and community to interact and connect.

Ice Cream Social at Miss Mindy’s Ice Cream Shop
Church members received a warm welcome during an outing to Miss Mindy’s Ice Cream Shop in Bayville, NJ. They enjoyed sampling delicious ice cream and had a wonderful time. Thank you Miss Mindy’s!

Semi-Annual Craft Fair
Our semi-annual indoor craft fair features handmade crafts from local vendors. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase at our Bake Sale. Come rain or shine for an enjoyable afternoon.
